Solve The Mystery

The festival centers upon the period in local history when Ithaca was a major hub of commerce in the region. Re-enacting a period dating from ca. 1860 to 1930, The History Center's Living History actors invite the public to participate in a mystery game centering around a jewel heist and a box of treasure hidden somewhere in the festival.

Three Ways to Play

1. Be the first to find the location of the hidden treasure on the festival grounds.

2. Follow the six scenes of the mystery as they occur and try to guess "whodunnit".

3. Each participating business will have a supply of witness testimonials! Pick one out and use it, along with whatever you have seen and heard, to answer the Detective's questions, or solve the mystery yourself...

All guesses as to "whodunnit" and why must be submitted to The Jewelbox by 5:15pm to be eligible for entry into the Black Diamond Necklace drawing.
