The History Center and the League of Women Voters Present Women's Suffrage in Upstate New Yorkwith Professor Karen Pastorello Saturday, March 6, 2010At 1pm The History Center in Tompkins County and the League of Women’s Voters in Tompkins County present Prof. Karen Pastorello, who will speak on Upstate New York’s rich history of women’s activism. Prof. Pasterello, of Tompkins Cortland Community College, will tell the stories of Upstate New York women who participated in the fight for suffrage. Her research includes Auburn and Ithaca. A question and answer period will follow her talk. This event is free and open to the public, but donations are always welcome.
