Volunteer at The History Center
Being a volunteer means active involvement with the Museum and its staff in a close-knit, friendly atmosphere. Opportunities to volunteer are available in all areas: collections, research, administration, museum store, marketing, education and with our Eight Square Schoolhouse Living History Program. Summer Internships for TEENS
Interested in History or Museums? Love to work with children? Prefer not to work with children but love to work with computers? We have internships to fit every interest. Join us and volunteer in a fun, flexible environment where caring for the past meets planning for the future. Summer Internships are offered on a space-available basis and are designed for youth ages 12 -18. A weekly commitment of at least three hours is encouraged but not required. Donating Artifacts to The History Center
Many individual, businesses,
and community groups have an interest in donating
their artifacts, records, or photographs to The History Center. At this
time, we are unable to accept artifacts or objects due to a lack of staffing
and space.
We will consider archival documents, records,
and photographs to be added to the collection. If
you would like to see if your records are appropriate and meet our
collections criteria, please use the donor questionnaire below, pick
up the form at our front desk, call the Archivist at 607-273-8284 ext.
