Join Jane Koestler and Wendy Bacon, Schoolhouse Marms and Youth Educators, for an Open House to explore the original octagonal one-room schoolhouse built in 1827.
Today, the schoolhouse is used for educational field-trips shaped around a typical class-day in 1827. The Open House is a chance for community members to see a part of yesteryears education, and today’s history preservation.
Guests can expect a thirty minute visit to explore the schoolhouse and grounds. The schoolhouse is a historic building and is accessed by several stone steps.
