Each Ithaca Kitty is hand sewn by volunteers in Ithaca New York. This toy is modeled on the world-famous "Tabby Cat" design invented by Celia Mattison Smith and Charity Smith in the late 1800's in Ithaca NY. Stands 14" tall at the tip of the ears, and base is 7" long. All Ithaca Kitties are now sold with the re-designed bottom panel showcasing seven toes on each of the front feet of Caesar Grimalkin the cat owned by Celia who inspired the toy.
