A History of the Town of Caroline: People, Progress, Pride - 1794-1994 History produced by the Caroline Bicentennial Committee, original printing by Press of Marathon Printing & Publishing Co 1994. Re-printed by The White Church Cabin Country Store in 2021 “In preparing for the Bicentennial of the Settlement of the Town of Caroline, a number of projects were advanced. One of these undertakings was the reorganizing of the “History of Tompkins County of New York State” that had be compiled for the 1976 Bicentennial. As more and more information, stories and pictures have come to light, it was decided to add this information to the “History…”, reorganize, index, and retype it. This is the outcome.”
