Description

Sol Goldberg’s Kids and Other Important People - edited by John Marcham Published by DeWitt Historical Society of Tompkins County, 1989 The publication presents Sol Goldberg’s second collection that puts more emphasis on children. For the decade 1956 – 1965 when Goldberg was staff photographer for the Ithaca Journal, his award winning pictures brought humor, drama – even make-believe – to photojournalism. This collection has over 80 images of kids in Ithaca, playing, laughing, and getting up to general mischief over 60 years ago. A wonderful piece to share with others in your life that recognizes the timelessness of play and fun.
