Tommy's Annual Inspection!

Program on our 105 year old Thomas Morse S4-B Scout

Saturday April 29th, 2023

1-2:30pm - In-Person

Exhibit Hall & CAP ArtSpace at the Tompkins Center for History & Culture on the Ithaca Commons

The Ithaca Aviation Heritage Foundation (IAHF) restored this Thomas Morse S4-B Scout, known as "Tommy", over a 10 year period in preparation for his centennial flight in 2018. Annual maintenance provides a rare chance to see the inside workings of this vintage airplane, originally constructed in Ithaca NY.

There will be an opportunity to hear some of the volunteers who actually performed the restoration narrate some of this process, accompanied by documentary footage by Mark Hartsuyker from The History Center digital archival collections.

This event is FREE and open to all ages!
